Disabled Access

The Abbey House Hotel caters for disabled and elderly guests throughout the grounds and buildings. There are eight disabled car parking spaces right at the front of the hotel and once you enter the hotel reception area, the bar and restaurant are all situated on ground level. There are two lifts situated in the hotel giving access to the bedrooms. One lift is in the original buildings and one lift has been built in the new extension wing. Both lifts grants easy access for elderly and disabled, or those prefering not to use the stairs.

As part of the new extension there are also disabled toilet facilities available for use by any guest, and again access from the outside to the suite is all at ground level. Please, however, give us feedback if you think of further ways we can broaden access to our stunning hotel and gardens.
