Bedrooms

The standard of our richly appointed hotel rooms is amoung the highest in the Barrow in Furness and the South Cumbria area, combining the comforts of home with the little luxuries you would expect from a privately owned hotel.

The Abbey House Hotel has a range of 57 individually designed bedrooms to suit any budget and taste. We boast two beautifully refurbished honeymoon suites where no detail or comfort has been overlooked.  Our double rooms are tastefully decorated and most have views of the lovely grounds and gardens.  In the main part of the hotel there is an eclectic mix of comfortable single rooms, twin rooms and doubles.  There are also larger executive rooms for those who like a little more space.  For the disabled traveller we have two lovely ground floor rooms which are fitted with disabled amenities and these are only a short way from reception.  Whatever your taste, we have something for everyone.

Our family rooms are spacious, individually furnished and large enough to accommodate two adults and two children.
