Local Area

The Abbey House Hotel is located on the outskirts of Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria.  There is plenty to see and do in the immediate vicinity and the heart of the English Lakes is only a short drive away.  You will find lots of local history at the Dock museum which details the history of Barrow Docks and the ship building history in the Furness peninsula.  If you check out our other attractions page, you will find more information on the surrounding amenities.
