Abbey House Hotel, which has just been voted as The Best Wedding Venue in Cumbria, is proud to offer some of the best facilities to hold a civil wedding ceremony in Barrow in Furness and South Cumbria. Choose one of our private rooms as the venue for your civil ceremony or partnership with a host of traditional and modern suites available for your evening reception.  The Duddon Suite can hold up to 180 wedding guests, and the Great Abbey Hall is suitable for weddings of up to 86 guests, whilst the Furness room is ideal for smaller ceremonies with more intimate numbers of up to 25 guests. All rooms have easy access to the beustiful manicured gardens and grounds.

Should you wish to hold you ceremony with us here at Abbey House, you can be assured of a perfect day.  The local registrar in Barrow in Furness is available throughout the week to arrange the time of your ceremony and our wedding co-ordiantors will ensure every detail is taken care of.
