The Teeny Tiny China Company

Tell us a little bit about your business…

About Us Based in the beautiful are of Morecambe Bay I’m a vintage loving married mother of two teeny tiny people. I was already in the wedding industry creating bespoke bridal flowers and stationery for my wonderful couples. I was asked on several occasions during our initial consultation if I hired my vintage china out? The answer had always been a no. This was to change when my friend wanted to ask his partner to marry him, so with a vintage picnic complete with linens, china and glass wear he asked on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Williamsons Park. I’m pleased to say the two are to be married. This was the start of The Teeny Tiny China Company. Offering beautiful vintage pieces for all sizes of event, from a romantic proposal for two to an event for 200 people.

What is the best thing about working in the wedding industry?

I love working with my couples as they plan their wedding day, as it is a pleasure to join in their excitement.

Why do you think it’s important for couples planning their special day, to visit wedding fairs?

I always advise my couples to attend fairs so that they can get ideas and save money

Do you have any new products you will be introducing in the new year?

I will continue to expand our selection of beautiful china and props, as well as complete packages to include full artificial flower and stationery packages

Do you have any special offers available at the Wedding Fair?

Our 10 person complete setting is available at £50 for couples at the wedding fair, with 10% off flower and stationery orders.

What is the BEST piece of advice that you can give to a couple planning their wedding?

As a recent bride and a supplier, don’t worry about the small things. Remember your wedding is about your love for one anther and sharing this with your family and friends. They will honestly will not notice, nor will they care if your sweets don’t match your chair sashes. Have fun and enjoy your planning, then enjoy your wedding day even if it isn’t quite right.
