Laura Wedding Coordinator

Laura has a wealth of experience within hospitality, and brings all of her knowledge together to be one of the best Wedding Co-Ordinators in the industry. Laura gives nothing less than 100% everyday…even on her days off! She is dedicated to her role and more importantly to the couples getting married with us. With super organisational skills no detail is ever missed, meaning it will always be a magical day for everyone.

Lauren Gee

Lauren Wedding Coordinator

Lauren has worked in some of the very finest hospitality establishments in the Lake District and we are now lucky to have her as part of our Wedding Super team. Her experience, enthusiasm and smile is infectious, she will guide you and help you through your wedding planning journey with great attention to detail. She knows her role and Abbey House Hotel inside out, you will be in very capable hands every step of the way!

Lauren, Rob and the rest of the wedding team went above and beyond in every aspect for us, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Lauren ran through every detail with us on the Friday evening, making sure that all we had to worry about was getting dressed and turning up.”

Me & my husband were absolutely blown away with this venue & all the staff! Laura & Lauren kept in contact with me on the lead up to our wedding, always on hand to answer any questions. They are so friendly, organised & on the ball with everything! Rob is a breath of fresh air, so helpful… bubbly & made the absolute best master of ceremonies for our wedding! The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. Everything ran like clock work, the food was delicious, the set up for the ceremony/breakfast/evening party was amazing! This truly was the wedding of dreams, everything was just so magical & everything we ever dreamed of! All our guests loved everything about this venue too! I can not wait to come back to visit every year on our anniversary… or even sooner if we can!

We got married at Abbey House Hotel & Gardens in October 2023 & could not have asked for a better day. We chose Abbey House after attending a wedding open day in Autumn 2022 & being very impressed with the room set-up & wedding coordinators Laura & Lauren. We then booked our wedding, Laura & Lauren were always on hand to guide us through every step of the process. They took time to get to know us as a couple & had a real understanding of what we wanted from our wedding day. As Abbey House has strong relationships with local suppliers, Laura & Lauren were able to work with others on our behalf, which took a lot of stress out of the wedding planning. On the day itself, Laura, Lauren & the team were absolutely amazing & nothing was too much trouble for them. They ensured we & our guests had a fantastic wedding day in a gorgeous setting with excellent food & entertainment. We are so glad that we chose Abbey House for our special day.
